Welcome to Across the Nerd-a-verse!
Wednesday, February 4th, 2009Hi folks – Jessie here. Well right now this site is sort of a place holder for our more permanent site that we hope to get all designed up in the future. Many thanks go out to our buddy Mike for setting this site up.
A bit about the podcast we’ll be doing: as the title suggests, we’ll be touching on topics of interest to nerds. That means comic books, video games, movies, and television, among other things. We promise to do our best to be informative and entertaining.
We just finished recording a beta test episode, which we’ve dubbed Episode 0.5, which we hope to have posted within the next day or so. Please give us feedback and let us know how you like (or don’t like) the show so far. Here’s an outline of the show:
1) Intro – Meet Your New Hosts!
2) Superbowl talk
3) “Poop or Puppy?” We review and rate movies this week: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Gran Torino, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, and Run Fat Boy Run
4) Preview of episode 1.0 topics
5) Wrap up
That’s it. The first episode should be a manageable 45 minutes or so. Obviously, future episodes will be a little more meaty.
